A name for the part of the work that should remain human.
Bob Burr writes as Digital Grandpa to share hard-earned perspective with humility, care, and a long view.

The purpose
Digital Grandpa is a public place for reflections on rebuilding, dignity, responsibility, and the long work of becoming. It is shaped by lived experience, community service, and the belief that wisdom should be offered with love and compassion rather than used to control someone else’s choices.
What it is not
It is not a technology site for seniors, a substitute for qualified help, a promise of a particular personal outcome, or an intake path into another property. The work may point to a public source or a separate Beacon destination when relevant, but each visitor chooses that next step for themselves.
Long-term stewardship
The goal is to build an archive that can outlast a single person: clearly sourced, consent-aware, human-reviewed, and able to continue through responsible stewardship.
